Why do BH contractions sometimes come very frequently?

Mine did that too. When I was seven months along with my first one, I had a day where I had braxton hicks every three minutes for several hours. I did notice that on the days that I had more braxton hicks, if Iooked at the newspaper, more babies were born on that day. I think it has to do with the barometer or something.
