Are these braxton hicks or real thing?

i am 31 weeks pregnant and last night i started getting really strong pains in my stomach, all over an felt really sick at the same time, they come and go every few mins ( i know baby is ok coz i can feel him moving around alot) i read that braxton hicks arent really that painful but these really where, i was crying but i think i was crying more that i was worried that i was going into labour this early. not so much the pain even though it was sore, i have another child i didnt experiance any contractions until i was 41 weeks so then i knew it was the real thing. do u think i could be going into labour early or just braxton hicks? i have had no other signs or labour, no point in even ringin hospital as there is nothing they will do until ive had a show or waters break.
